A guide for beginners, by patient people

Meridian grew out of a lot of kitchen-table questions from friends who wanted to invest but felt talked down to by every finance site they opened. So we wrote the opposite: a guide that assumes you are smart, new, and allowed to ask anything, in language that never shows off.

Everything here is written for a genuine beginner. We walk the app, the bigger-screen version, and everyday buying and selling in the order a new person meets them. We are an independent guide; we are not the broker we describe, we give no investment advice, and we say so plainly on every page.
